This is why our inhouse curio shop is so much appreciated by our clients. In the quite serene environment and far from the bustling streets, it is much easier to take your time selecting the items that are just right for you and not having to spend too much.

Hair Salon: African hairstyles

While on Safari in Africa it may be a good idea to look the part. You can visit our hair salon and choose from the wide range of different authentic African hair styles including braids, braids with coloured beads etc.

Horse Riding For Children And Adults

Many of our clients (especially the younger ones) take a little time from their busy safari to enjoy horse riding. Don't worry if you have never riden a horse we have experienced trainers on hand to help you along.

Ravak Supports A Children's Home

Ravak Tours and Safaris is very much involved in the running of a children's home that is situated close to our offices in Kikambala. The institution is home to about 100 cheerful children and our clients are welcome to visit.

Many visitors to Africa have a wonderful time but leave the continent without really learning much about the locals and the African way of life. Kibo Safari Camp is a luxury tented camp situated within the Amboseli National Reserve.The Camp incorporates an open terraced restaurant and bar under acacia trees overlooking majestic Mt. Kilimanjaro and a beautiful swimming pool has been landscaped within.

Kibo Safari Camp is picturesquely set at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro which at 5,896 meters, is the highest freestanding mountain in the world and topped by one fifth of all the ice in Africa in the famous Amboseli National Park. Amboseli, meaning "salty dust" in maa, the language of the Maasai, is a place of stark contrast. The park provides the classic Hollywood image of Africa. Set in rolling savannah scenery the park is dwarfed by the presence of the pink-tinged, snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Ngulia – Tsavo West

Ngulia Safari Lodge is located in Tsavo West National Park situated spectacularly atop on the edge of the Ndewe Escarpment, offering a vast panorama of Tsavo's sweeping plains. It overlooks the famous rhino protected reserve, which is the largest in the world, hence guaranteeing encounter with this rare African animal. The lodge is an ideal base from which to explore Tsavo, one of the world's largest national parks, boasting more than sixty mammal species within its borders.

Perched on the top of a cliff-faced hill, Voi Safari Lodge is uniquely designed to be a hinge like structure overlooking Kenya's Tsavo East National Park plains.

This very unique positioning of the lodge has made it a stop over for many safari adventures, nature lovers and holiday makers who are assured of getting to see at close range Kenya's wildlife attractions that continuously beat a track to the three water holes sunk by the lodge below the cliff.

During the dry season the waterholes are the convergence of a lot of wild animals. The sight is just fantastic. The location evokes a romantic inspiration that once moved a visiting British poet who now incorporated his experience at the lodge in most of his poems, to describe it as sample of wonder that is better than a dream.

Fig Tree Camp is in the Masai Mara, Africa’s most famous game reserve.

Fig Tree Camp is located on the banks of the Talek River and offers both luxury tents and chalet accommodation. A new addition at Fig Tree Camp are the Ngaboli tents, 10 presidential tents built on a private wing of the camp.

Services at Fig Tree Camp include, game drives and night safaris, game walks, bush black tie dinners and champagne breakfasts on the planes of the Masai Mara. Also based at Fig Tree Camp is Adventures Aloft balloon safaris which flies daily from the camp.

Lodges: Voi Wildlife Lodge Tsavo West

Voi Wildlife Lodge is in the heart of elephant country, on the boundaries of one of Kenya's largest game parks -the Tsavo East National Park.

Situated 5km off the main Nairobi-Mombasa highway, the lodge is only 4hrs drive from Nairobi and 2hrs drive from Mombasa. The lodge also lies within 5 minutes drive from the Tsavo East Airstrip. It has a apectacular view of the Kasigau, Sagalla and Mwakingali Hills and boasts a natural waterhole which often attracts big game.

The lodge is ideally placed for visitors wishing to combine a 'bush' and 'beach' safari holiday in Kenya with its accessibility to Tsavo National Park and its close proximity to the coast.

Lodges: Man Eaters Camp Tsavo West

This is the second property of the Voi Wildlife lodge group built at the location of the railway bridge that many workers died trying to build the railway line whilst at the mercy of the infamous man eating lions of Tsavo. Its built on the edge of a river with nicely furnished tents. Breathtaking.
